How to Turn Vault #01 – Introduction
Turn Vaults - Hand Position.
Back to basics! Today we'll start working on the turn vault, an absolutely essential Parkour technique.
-
The turn vault is usually used to get over a fence or barrier with a height drop in the other side. It enables us to get on to that other side while maintaining secure contact and not falling.
-
Remember to try both hands and just make your way over the bar however you like, practicing the hand transition.
-
Always do both sides! This is very important with the turn vault because you WILL come across environmental situations where you can only do the turn vault on one particular side, so get comfortable going both ways!
I'm a big fan of turn Vaults, so hopefully you'll all enjoy this series!
