How to Step Vault #3 – Hips High
Once your hand and foot are placed onto the box, you then need to support your weight with both limbs. Next is to try and get your glutes and hips as high as possible to create enough space under you so the back leg can pass through.
With enough horizontal space between hand and foot on the wall, and the hips being high, there should be enough space to push the rest of your body through the gap underneath.
Remember, if you don't get the hips high, the minimum being the top of the wall, the more mobility and flexibility you're going to need to get that back leg through. So if you know your mobility is lacking, raise the hips higher.
