How to Land #18 – Trajectory
Trajectory
Try to over-emphasise the jumping position and approach the landing onto it, rather than straight at it. Think of an arch up, over and down.
For help with this, you can put a small obstacle between yourself and the landing to force you to jump higher, over the obstacle, then onto the landing.
The straight-at-it technique is one I see a lot with new students because they're not used to the mechanics and technique of jumping. So start off small and gradually build up, keeping quality of landing in mind.
