How to Land #04 – Angles
Body Angles
We have three major angles we can change when being in a landing position.
- The ankle.
- The knee.
- The hip.
Starting from the hip, you'll notice that will make the biggest change, then the knee makes a medium change and the ankle makes the minimal amount of change. Therefore, to manipulate the way you land, the HIP is the first thing to adjust if landing wrong, as it makes the most difference.
The Knee joint is the one most people focus on, and is thee one that takes the majority of long-term injury.
Finally, the ankle does the least amount of change, but is just as important as the other two. It needs to be strong and contacted.
